We are rapidly expanding our business and looking for extremely talented individuals to join an extremely impactful team.  Withing OCI, Identity & Access Management Services are responsible for enabling authentication and authorization scenarios across all of OCI. They encompass the user journey from sign-in experience (via an app or a browser), to bridging OCI services to other cloud providers (such as S3 usage in AWS), to authentication/authorization via the Identity Data Plane (IDDP) and Identity Cloud Services (IDCS). The tier-zero nature of these services means Identity is upstream from most other OCI services and is involved in all aspects of internal and customer-facing workflows.

We need a highly talented Senior Director of SW Development for the Identity and access management organization to help lead the most critical functions of our business. This role will be managing large engineering teams, delivering distributed systems, operating them in multiple regions, and coaching and growing managers and engineers. Operationalizing services across various regions and locations. This person will lead a team of software managers and other senior engineers, directly aligned with our most strategic customers.  This team is focused on the success of these customers, including business planning, operations, health and performance, delivery planning, and cross-organizational coordination to address customer needs across our organization.

This high-visibility and high-impact role will help shape our future infrastructure business and enable growth. The role comes with a high degree of personal accountability and autonomy and will require effective engagement across all cross-organizational functions to deliver results.

You should have a strong multidisciplinary operations, technology and engineering management background. You should also have a track record of influencing and presenting to senior business and technology leaders and driving critical delivery initiatives at the highest levels. Strong executive communications, customer engagement, and business analytics skills are essential.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Director of the software engineering division, you will apply your extensive knowledge of software architecture to manage software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications, operating systems and databases according to current and future design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and envision improvements to the architecture.

US: Hiring Range: from $142,900 to $338,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
